++++ On the holidays in May and June – on 1 May (Labour Day), 26 May (Ascension Day) and 6 June (Whit Monday), we offer additional free guided tours. There is always a guided tour at 2 p.m. in English and at 3 p.m. in German. ++++
What does the memorial remind us of? To whom is it dedicated? What is it like to locate in the urban space? What discussions were connected with the process of its creation and what is the significance of Holocaust remembrance today? In a moderated exchange, the participants discuss these and other questions. They explore the Field of Stelae and are encouraged to interpret the abstract artwork and develop a position on the place of remembrance.
The contents of the exhibition are treated with photos and thus give an insight into the history of the persecution and murder of Jewish children, women and men during National Socialism in Germany and in occupied Europe german.
Please remember the applicable distance rules (1.5m). Wearing a medical mask during the tour is highly recommended. ++ No registration required. Free!
