Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited the Holocaust Memorial

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe on February 16, 2018. He was welcomed by Uwe Neumärker, Director of the Stiftung Denkmal and Dr. Ulrich Baumann, Deputy Director. Afterwards he laid down a wreath in the Field of Stelae and held a minute's silence.
The Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was accompanied by a large delegation, including S.E. Prof. Dr. Andrzej Przyłębski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Federal Republic of Germany, Marek Suski, Chairman of the Political Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Joanna Kopcińska, State Secretary and Government Spokesperson, Konrad Szymański, Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marek Korovajczyk, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Chancellery of the Prime Minister, and Mariusz Chłopik, Registry of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister Mateusz Morwiecki visited the Holocaust Memorial as part of his inaugural visit in Berlin. He was previously received by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
