Free public tours in the Field of Stelae

The dialogic tour for individual visitors is aimed at visitors aged 14 and over and takes up the previous knowledge as well as the special interests of the participants.
What does the memorial remind us of? To whom is it dedicated? What is it like to locate in the urban space? What discussions were connected with the process of its creation and what is the significance of Holocaust remembrance today? In a moderated exchange, the participants discuss these and other questions. They explore the Field of Stelae and are encouraged to interpret the abstract artwork and develop a position on the place of remembrance.
The contents of the exhibition are treated with photos and thus give an insight into the history of the persecution and murder of Jewish children, women and men during National Socialism in Germany and in occupied Europe german. The tour takes place in the field of stelae located above ground and ends with an accelerated admission to the exhibition in the place of information. The exhibition can be visited independently.
