On June 11, 2024, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PVER), H.E. Mr. Theodoros Rousopoulos, visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. The president took a lot of time for his visit. He was welcomed at the memorial by Adam Kerpel-Fronius, research assistant and responsible for issues of remembrance culture and international relations. The tour began with a detailed walk through the field of stelae. This was followed by a tour of the Information Centre, the exhibition under the Field of Stelae. The visit was characterized by an intensive exchange. Finally, President Rousopoulos signed the guest book of the monument.
H.E. Theodoros Rousopoulos was previously received for talks by the President of the Bundestag, Bärbel Bas, on 10 June 2024. He is also a participant in the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference organised by the Federal Foreign Office.
