Workshop »Memorial and Memory« (secondary education, adults)
Please note: The exhibition at the Information Centre will be closed from 12th January to 30th April 2026 inclusive due to renovation work. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to visit the exhibition during this period. However, we will continue to offer our open-air activities, such as our 45-minute guided tours and city walks, but without a subsequent visit to the exhibition.
In the workshop, memorials are examined as sources and expressions of the culture of remembrance and history.
At the beginning, the participants visit the monuments supervised by the Foundation. These are aesthetically captured, their effect reflected and similarities and differences analyzed. The monuments are classified in the urban space and time context. A guided evaluation is carried out in the seminar rooms in the place of information.
