Israeli Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe on October 29, 2021. He was accompanied by S.E. Ambassador Jeremy Issacharoff, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Germany since August 2017, and Aaron Sagui, who has been an envoy to the Embassy of the State of Israel in Berlin since 2019.

After a guided tour of the exhibition in the Information Center and the laying of wreaths in the field of stelae, the minister also visited the memorial to the homosexuals persecuted under National Socialism, and also laid a wreath there.

The visit of the Israeli Minister of Health took place as part of a longer trip to Berlin, during which the German Israeli Health Forum for Artificial Intelligence was also opened in Berlin.

Nitzan Horowitz has been chairman of the Meretz party since June 2019 and Israeli Health Minister in the Bennett-Lapid cabinet since June 2021.
