»Facing Justice – Adolf Eichmann on Trial«

Exhibition

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the trial of Adolf Eichmann, the exhibition »Facing Justice – Adolf Eichmann on Trial« was opened on 6 April 2011 at the Topography of Terror Documentation Centre.

The presentation focuses on the original film footage of the process. The exhibition focuses not only on Eichmann’s statements, but also on the tension between the testimony of the survivors and the defense of the perpetrator. More than one hundred witnesses face Eichmann in the trial, and some selected excerpts of the testimonies can be heard and viewed at the exhibition’s media stations.
The worldwide media attention generated by the trial is presented, among other things, on the basis of the reports in both German post-war states, Israel, Poland, Hungary and the USA.
