Construction measures affect access to the entrance of the exhibition in the Information Centre

December 12, 2021 update
Access to the entrance of the exhibition in the Information Centre is no longer possible via the sidewalk of Cora-Berliner-Straße for the period from 13 December to 19 December 2021. You can get from Hannah-Arendt-Straße as well as from Behrenstraße through the field of stelae to the entrance to the Information Centre. Our visitor service or our security service will be happy to help you.

Press release of 12 October 2021
Due to construction work on Cora-Berliner-Straße, the sidewalk at the Holocaust Memorial is temporarily unusable. Footpath and road works are being carried out to rectify the slope in the Cora-Berliner-Straße between the new building and the stele field for the drainage of rainwater. After completion of the work, Cora-Berliner-Straße will be traffic-calmed, provided with wide footpaths, trees and seating.

The end of the restrictive construction activities is expected in February 2022. The compensation work is carried out in individual phases, so that only sections and not the entire footpath section is affected. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
