This is also reflected in the historical exhibitions of the Federal Republic of Germany. How can the history of german-Polish relations be better integrated into German museums? What does a contemporary historical exhibition look like? And how will Berlin&#8217;s commemorative institutions develop if both a \u00bbDocumentation Centre second World War and German occupation rule in Europe\u00ab and a \u00bbplace of remembrance and encounter with Poland\u00ab are created?<\/p><p>DPI Director <b>Peter Oliver Loew<\/b> discussed this with two proven experts: <b>Adam Kerpel-Fronius <\/b>, a research associate at the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin. It looks after numerous memorial sites with associated historical exhibitions. And <b>Dr. Thorsten Smidt is<\/b>exhibition director of the Foundation House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn who is currently working on the new permanent exhibition.
