I passed his apology on to the former and current chairs of the Berlin Jewish Community last Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Following Peter Eisenmans offer to clarify the matter with the representatives of the Berlin Jewish Community, I sincerely hope that calm will return. I am alarmed at the air of detachment towards the Memorial to the Murdered Jews which emerges in some of the newspaper articles on the comments made by representatives of the Jewish Community.
