Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

As part of their first official tour of Poland and Germany the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe on Wednesday, the 19th of July 2017.

Uwe Neumärker, Director of the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and Michael Müller, mayor of Berlin, greeted the Royal couple at the Memorial. Then they visited the exhibition in the Information Center through which they were guided by Uwe Neumärker. At the end of the tour they met the Holocaust survivor Leon Schwarzbaum.

After this impressing and personal meeting the Royals finished their visit by signing the Golden Book and walking through the field of Stelae.
